The color of your eyes when the sun shifts from behind the clouds, the way your toddler's toes sink into the sand, the intertwined fingers of a new love. Mom of 7. Ava, Elijah, Jetta, Isaiah, + Cali grew in my belly. Derek Jr. + James grew in my heart. And Isaiah didn't get the chance to grow into the amazing boy he would have undoubtedly been, as he left this Earth as an infant. His short life has shaped mine, and I am quite certain his purpose here was aimed at ensuring I knew just how special each moment with our loved ones is.
I have always been the 'let's take a picture' friend, sister, daughter and mom, so it's no surprise to anyone who knows me that life brought me to a professional place behind the lens. I find joy in watching people light up at the images of themselves where they feel beautiful, confident, adventurous and seen.
